As adventurers, scuba divers may want to go deeper then they’ve ever gone before to explore a wreck, take photos, or simply to see a dive site that has been out of their reach. There are greater potential hazards that come with diving deeper and learning to recognize and deal with these risks is part of what you learn in the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course.
Your training starts in the classroom. You will learn about:
- Specialized deep diving equipment.
- Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.
- Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.
After your classroom is complete, you will plan and conduct 4 deep dives with your instructor.
