Stay warm and dry!
A drysuit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.
Knowledge Development - Academics are done during one classroom session at Scubatude, or using our home study DVD option.
During the classroom session, you will learn:
• Benefits of diving with a drysuit
• Selecting the right drysuit and undergarments
• Preparing zippers and seals
• Caring for a drysuit
Confined Water Dives – You will practice basic drysuit skills in a heated swimming pool. In the pool you will practice everything from donning and doffing, to controlling buoyancy with a drysuit.
You’ll also practice some emergency skills, like disconnecting the drysuit inflator underwater.
Open Water Dives – You will take everything you leared in the classroom and pool into the ocean to demonstrate mastery of the skills over two dives with an instructor.
Included - Includes tuition, classroom session, swimming pool fees, and PADI Certification fee.
Student must purchase and read the PADI Drysuot Diver textbook prior to class.
